a question in docker bridge

• Hi, I have a question that start hbase in docker but has this error, and the solution is vim /etc/hosts to give it a full name(hostname+bridge name)

• but, can we have a graceful to generate hostname like this 1.1.1.1 full.name short.name ?

• or pass hostname without bridge name?

not sure I got the question, did you already tried to specify the hostname with --hostname
