Please deprecate old renamed NOUZ-MCP registry entries

The project was renamed/moved from:

• io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP

To:

• io.github.Semiotronika/NOUZ-MCP

The new server entry is published successfully as version 3.0.3 and appears in Registry search.

The old entries are still active:

• io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP 2.1.3
• io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP 2.1.4
• io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP 2.3.0

I tried to deprecate them with:

mcp-publisher status --status deprecated --all-versions --message "Renamed to io.github.Semiotronika/NOUZ-MCP. Please use version 3.0.3 or newer under the Semiotronika namespace." io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP

The CLI showed the correct plan:

2.3.0: active -> deprecated
2.1.4: active -> deprecated
2.1.3: active -> deprecated

But after confirmation it returned:

403 Forbidden
You do not have publish or edit permissions for this server

Could Registry maintainers please deprecate the old KVANTRA-dev entries manually, or advise how to reclaim/edit them after the GitHub namespace rename?

This is currently causing downstream catalogs to keep showing stale metadata from the old entry, including tools that were removed from the current public package.

@Semiotronika I replicated the scenario, looks like your github token belongs to user Semiotronika while you are trying to mark deprecate or delete to a server io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP which is under user KVANTRA-dev for which Semiotronika user doesn't have permission.

In order to mark this as deprecate, token should belong to user KVANTRA-dev, if it is an org then github user should belong to that org.

Thanks, that makes sense. KVANTRA-dev was the previous GitHub username before the account was renamed to Semiotronika, so GitHub OAuth now only returns Semiotronika. The old GitHub URLs redirect to the new repository, but the registry entries remain under io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP.

I no longer have a token that can authenticate as KVANTRA-dev. Could a registry maintainer manually mark the old io.github.KVANTRA-dev/NOUZ-MCP versions as deprecated, or advise the supported reclaim/rename flow?

@Semiotronika For a brief period if the username can be changed to KVANTRA-dev, and login via github again under this username, above server with username KVANTRA-dev can be marked as deleted by status command.

Once that is done, you can again rename the user to Semiotronika. It will not have any impact on you new servers published under Semiotronika
