Roadmap towards November Release of MCP

A new revision of MCP will be standardized on November 25th, 2025, with a RC state on November 11th.

This is a list of MCP SEPS approved since the June revision of the spec.

I propose that to track progress towards full support of the November release, we do the following

• Make an issue in the rust-sdk repo per in the list above SEP
• Make a single top level issue tracking aggregated progress and status of these
• Assign SEP specific issues to those working on them
• Upon completion, declare support for 2025-11-25

We also need to identify what we do not currently support from 2025-06-18

Can I open an issue to implement SEP-1036: URL Mode Elicitation for secure out-of-band interactions in the Rust SDK?
This SEP introduces an important security feature that allows sensitive or third-party interactions (like OAuth or payment flows) to happen safely outside the client.
I plan to extend the existing ElicitationCapability to include a typed url mode alongside form, and add support for elicitation/create and elicitation/track requests with mode = "url".

Also if you need any help in filing issues I am willing to do that as well.
