Modrinth app updates to the latest version of a project, even if other projects depend on a previous version

So I have a modpack that has shaders support that uses Iris and Sodium. The most recent version of Iris for 1.21.3 is 1.8.1, which is compatible with version 0.6.1 or older. The reason I'm reporting this to modrinth is because on their app it says that Sodium has an update available and when I install it, it replaces the Sodium version with one made after version 0.6.1 causing incompatibilities. Please tell me if this is something that should be reported to the Sodium developers, or if the people at Modrinth can fix this.

Sodium is not the problem.
Iris is targeting that specific sodium version because has you encountered, iris doesn't work with higher sodium versions but the modrinth app is ignoring this relation creating incompatibilties.

IMO change the title of this issue to "Modrinth app updates to the latest version of a project, even if other projects depend on a previous version".

Temporarily don't update sodium or other projects that have dependents.
