Please confirm the following.

  • I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems
  • I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
  • I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

What version of the Modrinth App are you using?

Unknown, (Latest, according to given application store,) due to crashing on startup.

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Linux

Describe the bug

After I had downloaded Modrinth to try and use on a Fedora distro I use regularly, I found that it wouldn't even start up. All that I could see, for like a split second at least, was a white popup that immediately closed itself, pending me to think it was crashing.
I have absolutely no clue if this is just a Fedora thing, or just Bazzite itself, but I have used Modrinth on a previous Linux Mint install.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have the Linux, "Bazzite," distro installed included with it's given appstore, "Bazaar."
  2. Open Bazaar
  3. Search for the Modrinth page
  4. Download by clicking install
  5. Open it once installed

Expected behavior

What I expected to happen is for it to at least start up and give me an error message, then close out, but none of that ever happened.
