cannot install modrinth using flathub (or Bazaar) BazziteOS

• I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems
• I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
• I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

What version of the Modrinth App are you using?

0.13.4

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Linux, BazziteOS

Describe the bug

the app simply does not launch when installing it using flathub, i used the .AppImage instead

Steps to reproduce

be on Linux (BazziteOS in my case)
try installing Modrinth using flathub or Bazaar

Expected behavior

the app installing and launching correctly
