How to Fix Duplicate Comment Creation in Obsidian

Hello,
When I select a text segment and create a comment, two identical comment records are automatically generated. Moreover, any updates I make only apply to a single one of these records.
Could you please advise on how to ensure only one comment record is created each time?

Love your Plugin! Can confirm OP's issue. Upon creating a comment, I end up with two identical ones. When editing one of them, the edits are not mirrored in the other. (Obsidian Version 1.11.1; Installer 1.9.14). Tried this with several themes and identical results.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this issue. The duplicate comment bug has been fixed in recent versions - it was caused by the comment command being registered twice (both as a command and as an editor menu handler).

Please update to the latest version of SideNote, and this should resolve the problem. Each text selection should now create only one comment.

This is still happening for me. I was using version 1.11.5 of obsidian with 1.11.4 installer, with version 1.0.4 of sidenote. updated to 1.11.5, and still no love. no errors in console. See attached sandbox.

I'm still having this issue, and it's still creating two at the same time, my obsidian version is 1.11.5 and the sidenote version is 1.0.4
