It appears that they've been sued by MongoDB, which explains why there was a sudden halt. It may be worth updating the documentation to use pure DocumentDB instead? |

@NotActuallyTerry Is a migration possible from FerretDB to DocumentDB already by users, I believe FerretDB is just a MongoDB proxy so Komodo would need to be modified to use PQ and DocumentDB native? |

Migration-wise, the worst case would be that you'd need to make a database dump, and import that into DocumentDB instead. I've been using Komodo w/ DocumentDB for over a week now, and it's been flawless. I didn't need to make any modifications to Komodo for it to work. I don't know why the documentation doesn't make it clear that DocumentDB is a drop-in replacement for MongoDB, but the docker image has just worked out of the box for me. |
Uh oh!

the FerretDB project has been very quiet and maybe abandoned
The projects main website has been down since may with no actions
FerretDB/FerretDB#5650
No much movement on the project in months
hopefully just a world cruise, but potentially compatibility and security issues ahead.
