Bug Description

After the update (7.36.2-1), mic stays ON after calls have ended. Mic permissions have to be toggled to turn it off until the next call.

Also snapchat does the same on my device so it might not totally be Mollys fault, but im not sure

According to "ADB shell dumpsys audio" Molly isn't listed as actively recording by RecordingActivityMonitor and under "Events log: recording activity received by AudioService" there is an appropriate "rec stop" event for im.molly.app

I don't use phone app or any other apps that record audio except Molly on this device, so I can't say if it's a GrapheneOS bug or a Molly bug, however I briefly tested recording video with the built in GrapheneOS Camera app to see if it would trigger the same bug and it didn't... This isn't meaningful though as i can't reproduce the bug on demand with Molly either.

Has happened twice with Molly in 3 days, on a device set up less than a week ago from factory reset GrapheneOS with fresh Molly Installation with new Signal Profile, after not having used GrapheneOS/Molly combo during March and early April months... I didn't experience this bug during March/April when I was using Molly (non-FOSS) with Stock Android 13 Go on a cheap ZTE burner phone.

GrapheneOS changelogs mentioned they were messing with the "green dot" for location permission usage recently...

Can confirm this is not a Molly Bug. It is a GrapheneOS and Stock Google Pixel OS bug introduced by Google in Android 15 QPR2 and Android 16 beta.
