Renaming the Linked Device

I have only one linked device in my account - it is the one creted during the MollySocket setup.
I tried renaming the default MollySocket Linked device from the linked devices menu in MollyIM and it worked - the new name was accepted.
Unfortunately after a while I checked and I had 2 linked devices in my account - the original default one which I previously renamed and the succesfully renamed one.

Is renaming of the linked device supported or is there a way to set its name during initial setup of MollySocket?

Do you think having the option to set the linked device name during initial setup is viable feature request?

I think it would make the UX more cumbersome, without a real benefit
