Figlet Flare CLI Tool

A simple CLI tool that displays input text in a stylized ASCII art format using figlet, with random colors applied using chalk.

  • Built with Node.js, using figlet for ASCII art and chalk for color styling

Installation

You can install this CLI tool locally for development or globally for easy access.

Local Installation

  1. Clone or download the repository
  2. Run the following command to install the dependencies:
  3. npm install
  4. npm run build
  5. npm link

Usage

After installation, and build you can use this tool via the command line.

figcolor [text]

Parameters:

  • [text]: The text to be converted into ASCII art. If no text is provided, the default text "Hello, Figlet Flare!" will be used.

Examples

  1. Display the default message: figcolor

  2. Display a custom message: figcolor hello world

[Random Color] | | | | ___ _ __ / ___
| | | |/ _ \ '| | | () | | | | | / | | |_ || ||_|_| ____/ [ASCII Art continues...]

The ASCII art will be displayed in a different random color every time you run the command.
