A simple CLI tool that displays input text in a stylized ASCII art format using figlet, with random colors applied using chalk.
- Accepts text as an input (optional)
- Generates ASCII art of the input text
- Displays the ASCII art in randomly chosen colors every time
- Built with Node.js, using figlet for ASCII art and chalk for color styling
You can install this CLI tool locally for development or globally for easy access.
- Clone or download the repository
- Run the following command to install the dependencies:
- npm install
- npm run build
- npm link
After installation, and build you can use this tool via the command line.
Parameters:
[text]: The text to be converted into ASCII art. If no text is provided, the default text "Hello, Figlet Flare!" will be used.

The ASCII art will be displayed in a different random color every time you run the command.
