Consider showing PHPUnit deprecations

When running tests against main, I'm seeing "PHPUnit Deprecations: 27". It's not showing any additional details, so I'm not sure what to do about that.

It looks like PHPUnit has some configuration values that may be able to help: displayDetailsOnPhpunitDeprecations and failOnPhpunitDeprecation.

If these deprecations are something that we should be planning for, please provide a way for us to get this visibility as part of the moodle-plugin-ci process. Thank you!

Hello @jrchamp, it is intentional. If you fix them, the phpunit test will fail on 4.5 and below, so unless you intend to create a separate plugin branch for 5.0+, it is better not to fix those deprecations for now. The whole thing is related to PHPUnit 11 upgrade in 5.0. If you really need to see them, you can maintain alternative phpunit.xml with displayDetailsOnPhpunitDeprecations enabled and pass it to test with --configuration option (but IMO is easier to view them in the local environment phpunit run)
