Host rendering

• Add opt-in pane-local visual bells: set pane_visual_bell = true with visual_bell = true for a fixed 120 ms pane perimeter. This replaces the window-wide flash and visible-pane BEL toast for that event. Repeated bells coalesce without extending the hold.
• Keep bell cleanup bounded across expiry, occlusion, pane replacement, Space changes, geometry changes, and configuration reloads.
• Reduce focus-border animation damage and preserve correct cleanup during scrolling and content updates.
• Keep existing focus cues, inactive-pane backgrounds, audible bells, and OS notifications.

Packages

Linux downloads contain all six executables and manuals for x86_64 and ARM64. They require glibc 2.35 or newer, such as Ubuntu 22.04 or newer. Extract the matching archive and run install.sh, or use pmux update for an existing installation. The new pane bell option defaults to off.

ARM64 command-line and window verification uses explicit user-mode emulation. macOS is available as a source build; this release provides Linux binary downloads.

Prismattyc 0.2.12

Prismattyc 0.2.12 adds Linux ARM64 downloads alongside Linux x86_64.

The macOS presenter now updates only damaged tiles. A coordinate fix keeps tile rows in the correct order, including the restore dialog. Window transparency and blur remain supported. The manual installer also handles empty argument lists on macOS Bash 3.2.

Install on Linux

Choose the archive for your CPU. Run uname -m if you are unsure.

Extract the archive and run ./install.sh. The installer adds six executables, seven manuals, license notices, and a desktop launcher to ~/.local. Add ~/.local/bin to your PATH.

Both Linux targets require glibc 2.35 or newer. On Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, install the runtime libraries:

Run pmux update to update an existing installation. Updates leave running sessions in place. Use pmux restart to review component restarts, or pmux update --rollback to restore the previous update.

SHA256SUMS covers both architectures and the shared notices. Each installation archive contains its own checksums. Individual executable downloads support the updater.

Validation and platform scope

Linux binaries use Rust 1.90.0 and an Ubuntu 22.04 runtime baseline. ARM64 runtime checks run under emulation, including installation, updater behavior, and X11 rendering. Performance on physical ARM hardware has not been measured.

Kiro's native macOS review reported passing tile placement, partial updates, alpha/blur, resize, and restore-dialog checks. macOS remains a source build; signed and notarized Mac downloads are not included. Windows downloads are not included.

Prismattyc's original source uses MPL-2.0. Third-party components retain their own terms. Read the license notice and MPL-2.0.
