Team Members

The team members for the TripView app are as follows: Manush Gopal, Hanif Jilani, Ryan Kirby, Ethan McIntyre, Gabriel Mora, Austin Ngan, Jade Redmond, and Musabbiha Zaheer. This roster brings together a diverse set of experiences in Kotlin, Python, and other technologies used in the tech stack of the app.

Each team member's contributions are outlined in the following paragraphs.

Manush Gopal

Manush contributed to the Python backend and documentation of the project's Wiki. Collaborated with fellow backend engineer Hanif on Flask API routes.

Hanif Jilani

Hanif extensively worked on the Flask backend of TripView. This also includes Flask API routes.

Gabriel Mora

Gabriel was a member of the backend team specializing in feature development, 3rd part API integration, and project management tasks. Gabriel collaborated with Jade on delivering "Landmark Identification and Location-Based Context" by integrating gemini-2.5-flash's image identification capabilities with location data to return relevant tour-guide style context. Gabriel also collaborated with Jade in developing a chatbot to process user queries on an itinerary and stream responses back to the client using SSEs for performance. Gabriel also led a merge effort to reconcile complex branch divergences ahead of our first project milestone, helping keep project on track.

Jade contributed to the app's frontend, UI and documentation. She built components and screens using Figma references as well as kept the Trello board and UI/UX wiki updated.

Musabbiha Zaheer

Musabbiha contributed to the app's frontend and UI, building components and screens as defined in the Figma. She also contributed to documentation and kept the UI/UX wiki updated.
