WUBRG Tracker ("the app," "we," "us") is an Android app for cataloguing a personal Magic: The Gathering card collection. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. The short version: your collection data stays on your device and in your own Google account — we do not operate any server that collects or stores it.
WUBRG Tracker is an independently developed app. For any privacy questions, contact: info@toomuchsugar.ca.
Your collection data. Card lists, quantities, conditions, prices, binders, decks, wishlist, trade binder, purchase prices, and notes that you enter or import. This is stored locally on your device (an on-device database) and, if you choose to enable sync, in a Google Sheet inside your own Google Drive. We never receive or store this data.
Your Google account (only if you enable sync). If you sign in with Google to turn on cloud sync, the app uses:
- your Google account email address, to identify your devices and label them in the in-app device list, and
- the
drive.filepermission, which lets the app create and open only the spreadsheet it makes for you — it cannot see any of your other Drive files.
Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device (Android secure storage) and are sent only to Google. We do not transmit them anywhere else.
Camera (only when scanning). If you use the card scanner, the camera captures an image so the app can read the card. Text recognition runs on-device (Google ML Kit). Scanned images are processed locally and are not uploaded to us or any third party.
- Google (Sign-In, Drive, Sheets) — used only if you enable sync, to store your collection in your own account. Google's handling of your account is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Scryfall — the app fetches Magic card data, images, and market prices from Scryfall's public API. These are general card lookups; your personal collection is not sent to Scryfall.
- Currency exchange rates — the app fetches public exchange-rate data to convert prices into your chosen currency. No personal data is sent.
We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not sell or share your personal data.
The app does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Because your data lives on your device and in your own Google account, you are in control:
- Delete the app's local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling.
- Delete the synced spreadsheet directly in your Google Drive.
- Revoke the app's Google access anytime at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
