Description
The NileSoft Shell context menu works correctly on the desktop, but it fails to appear on the Windows 11 taskbar. Despite having a valid taskbar.nss configuration and using the latest version of the application, the system defaults to the native Windows context menu when right-clicking on the taskbar.
Steps to reproduce:
- Right-click on an empty space on the Windows 11 taskbar.
- The context menu displayed is the native Windows one, not the NileSoft Shell menu.
Troubleshooting performed:
- Reinstallation: Performed a clean installation of the latest version with no success.
- Registry modification: Attempted to modify the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nilesoft\Shell\Disable key (setting the Taskbar value to 1 and subsequently deleting the key entirely) to force a refresh, but the issue persists.
- Process restart: Performed multiple explorer.exe restarts and system reboots.
Additional Information:
The menu works perfectly everywhere else (Desktop, File Explorer context menus), so the issue seems to be limited specifically to the "hooking" process on the Windows 11 taskbar.
System Information:
Windows 11 25H2 (26200.7922)
