llamafile for Bare Metal environments / No OS/

The idea is simple,

• llamafile that works even when there is no operating system involved.
• Just a file that is booted from a USB or installed on disk and booted.

The only thing it runs is the AI, cutting off all overheads, preferably hyper-optimized

(I just bundled a portable AI with alpine) (I don't know much about low level bare-metal engineering )

I know there are lots of other improvements that could help and this is just an experimental idea I got while recreational programming , b ut I genuinely wanted to share this idea , know and learn more about how it sounds , if it's even feasible.
The project above is somewhat complete and I ran qwen3 from a USB with an awesome text user interface.

TL;DR

Llamafile but it runs without the Operating system. Hyper-optimized for better performance
