It seems that there is an abnormality in the embedded font data.

The font has a Flags entry equals to 36 (i.e. 0b100100) which means that it has the both flags Symbolic and Nonsymbolic set (from Table 123):

This flag (i.e. Symbolic) and the Nonsymbolic flag shall not both be set or both be
clear.

So we've to decide which one is correct...
The font dictionary has an entry Encoding which itself has an entry Differences.
Normally Differences is used for non-symbolic fonts when for symbolic ttf fonts we should use what we've in the font.
So I guess that in such case, we can choose NonSymbolic.
I'll write a patch and we'll see how the ref tests are.
