Safari and Chrome run out of memory when quickly scrolling through large PDFs

When quickly scrolling through large PDFs (over 100 pages of text), both Safari and Chrome are quitting from a an excessive memory warning. I've captured the crash reports, which are obviously rather lengthy. Should I post them here or is there somewhere I should send it?

Just detailed steps to reproduce the issue and try to mention more details about your configuration, e.g. "windows xp sp1 with 128MB of ram". See also https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

I failed to mention this is on an iPad...

Steps:

1. URL: http://hosted-stage.rightprospectus.com/SecurityAssurance/Fund.aspx?cu=CUTPROS1&dt=SP
2. Allow PDF to load (even partially) and begin scrolling quickly (a swipe every half second or so will do it)
3. Either browser will receive a memory warning (confirmed with idevicesyslog) and close.

This is my site and I can make changes to it at any time, so if you need me to try anything on my end, let me know.

Please provide version of iOS and PDF.js.

I've done more testing on this. It's not only fast scrolling. Jumping to any area far into a large document quickly causes the browser in iOS to run out of memory and exit.

Not yet. The link you provided seems to be dead. There have been performance improvements lately, but I'm not sure if they also help with your issue. Always try using the latest version of PDF.js at https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html.

The link isn't dead; the viewer is just broken as of an hour ago. I'll have it fixed in a few hours. Thanks for the update.

Hello guys,
We are also having the same issue on iOS (iphone 5, iphone 6, etc.). The app crashes while reading through a pdf rendered using pdfjs. It happens more frequently with big pdfs, in terms of file size or page numbers both. Also while zooming or direct to a specific page navigation.
Our app is using ionic framework. It works just fine on android. We can see memory shooting up while profiling on android through chrome debugger. But it doesn't crash there. However, it crashes on iOS intermittently.
I don't see any update to above issue, so I am just curious was it ever resolved ?
Any help will be really appreciated.
