Add a Custom TOC Html

Hi everyone !

Currently using mPDF > 7 and everything work as it should be for now.
But it seems that the Table Of Content is not HTML customizable. Cause, now there is the <dottab/> tag that cannot be hidden or simply not used.

Actually, I would like to import my own TOC template and maybe with some built in variables, like {PAGENO} you already use, replace it with the page number related to the <tocentry>

Is it an open subject? Under development or we just have to deal with the current built-in TOC ?

This would be a great enhancement.

In the mean time I had to code a system to split my final PDF into three parts: before the TOC, after the TOC, then finally write the TOC itself to the third PDF file.

While writing the "before the TOC" and "after the TOC" I track page numbering (using $mpdf->page). (And I do not use mPDFs "tocentry" at all.) Granted, my system is set up so that each TOC entry is built from an independently generated report, so I can say: "get me the page before I start this report" ...then make the report and add it to the PDF... then ask: "now that the report is done, get me the page number again"...and so on.

Finally I merge the three PDFs into one.

Doing this allows me to create however complex of TOC I need.

I have found that setting:

div.mpdf_toc {
  color: white;
}

...hides the dottab dots.
