We need to use a separate settings object since it's not thread-safe.
We'll need to convert the global config to settings for the next version, so the user doesn't have to to import everything again.

Rework preferences and move functionality to GSettings. We also move to AdwViewStackPage to implement backend-specific preferences in future.
