HDR video playback problem / issue

With an HDR display in HDR mode, video playback was correct in the previous version, but is clearly abnormal in the latest version. I'd like to know if this is an issue on my end or a widespread problem.

Correct playback

Incorrect playback I adjusted the contrast, but it doesn't seem to be related Sorry, I used a phone to take a photo. On Windows screenshots, they look the same

Could you show stats with --vf=format=dolbyvision=no? Does --target-contrast=inf changes the image or not? Could you narrow down the working / not working builds?

Actually, I can reproduce. The window has significantly higher luminance (450) than the DV metadata (100) says. And since now we enable black point compensation, the causes the tonemapper to actually trigger on this scene.

This was always a problem if such scene would be tone mapped to SDR for example.

I encountered this problem a long time ago. At that time, playing this video without Windows HDR enabled would result in overexposure, and using --vf=format=dolbyvision=no made it play normally. Later I found that after turning on HDR mode, that option was no longer necessary, so I removed it. It looks like I need to keep using it again.
