Ender 3 V2 Bl-Touch Problem

Hello Friends,

A couple of days I'm struggling with bl-tocuh. To be clear I'm sharing the video of my problem. After successfully Installed bltouch and the firmware, when I select Auto Home option, Nozzle goes down and it does not stop when it is close to the bed. I 'm not sure perhaps my bltouch is broken, may be needle is wrong, may be placement of the bltocuh is wrong, really don't know.

This is my second bltouch that I bought in a week. :(

Hi. Did you follow the BLTouch guide in the wiki? Check the guide to make sure you're using:

• the correct vertical distance between the nozzle and the tip of the probe.
• the correct probe port.

I read the wiki page more than once. Vertical distance between the nozzle and tip of the probe is about 4mm. And I double check the port that use to connect the probe to mainboard. It's hard the find the original or the oem probe in here. Most of them is oem and they are not really reliable.

I don't know is it important to you but I can admit, your works and contributions are admirable. Not only with this project. I look over the your other repositories and works, your abilities are really brilliant.

It seems from your video that your probe should be a little lower. Check the trigger distance and see if the connection is OK by raising the Z axis, homing Z, and then using your hand or something similar to trigger the probe.

I have the same probe in use on my Ender3 that has a 4.2.7 board and it is working for me. I connected the sensor to the 5 pin sensor on the printer board. The sensor kit came with a 3pin and a 2pin cable so the 3 pin is on the left and the 2 pin on the right when plugged into the motherboard. The other thing I had to do was to disable fast probing in the probe menu.
To test the probe I went to the menu and had probe extend to test that probe would extend as well as to make sure it extends beyond the printer nozzle (ie. when extended the probe should be closer to the print bed than the print nozzle). Then I retracted the probe using the menu option. The probe should retract and be farther away from the print bed than the print nozzle.
I actually left my z-sensor connected but I think most people disconnect them.
