CamelGraph v0.51.0 (personal use, Navisworks 2024-2026)
CamelGraph (previously Dyncamelo) for Autodesk Navisworks 2024, 2025 & 2026 — visual programming (node graphs) inside Navisworks. Personal-use edition: free for personal and other noncommercial use; a copy for professional use is coming soon to the Autodesk App Store.
Personal use only. This download (GitHub, bimcamel.com) is the free Personal use edition under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0: learning, hobby projects, research, and charities, schools, universities, public research bodies and government institutions. For professional use (work at a company, a consultancy or design office, a paid project or product) a copy for the Autodesk App Store is coming soon; it will come with a commercial licence from BIMCamel. It is the same program in both editions.
What is new since 0.50.0
- A review of the whole node library. 210 findings (bugs, duplicates, gaps, nodes that did not work with lists, nodes that could break a node group) are fixed. The library has 589 nodes: 42 new names, 32 retired (hidden from the library, still loading and running, so saved graphs and the sample graphs keep working).
- Node packs survive updates. Packs are read from
%APPDATA%\CamelGraph\Packagesfirst, so an update or uninstall leaves them alone, then from thePackagesfolder beside the plug-in. Help > Node Packs says where packs go, what loaded and what did not (with the reason), and opens the folder. One bad pack no longer takes the others with it. - Expand all / collapse all in the node library are a small plain + and -.
- "Equal" and "sorted" mean one thing everywhere.
Equals,Logic.CompareandLogic.Switchignore the case of text and read "5" as 5; lists and dictionaries are compared by content; every sort puts numbers by value and text ignoring case, with empty items last. An empty cell never passes a less-than or greater-than test any more, and a cell of text such as "TBC" next to a number no longer turns a whole filter red. - Lists, tables and spreadsheets with gaps work.
Sum,Average,Medianand the other number nodes skip empty cells; a list with no numbers gives an empty result and a warning instead of a red error.Table.Joinjoins on several columns and no longer multiplies blank keys;Table.Sort,Distinct,GroupByandJointake a list of column names. - Files behave. Relative paths mean "next to the graph file"; the browse button opens a folder, Save or Open dialog as the node needs; writers say "writes files" before a graph from a file runs; text, CSV and Excel files read and write the right encoding, dates and codes such as 007; a writer with nothing wired no longer empties a file.
- Node groups and loops are safer. A false
Flow.Wheninside a group only switches off what depends on it, a failed input only stops the nodes that need it,Flow.Tryworks across the group boundary, and Make Node Group keeps input, Watch and "Show in Player" nodes outside the group. Watch nodes cap what they draw on huge lists;Workflow.ForEachcarries on after a bad item. - Clash, viewpoints, selection sets and TimeLiner.
ClashTest.Createno longer replaces a test of the same name silently; an empty list wired totestsmeans no tests;Clash.Deduplicateworks across tests;Viewpoint.Savereplaces two nodes and takes a folder path;Search.ByPropertytakes a list of values and anexistsmode; selection sets have folder nodes;TimelinerTask.Createupdates instead of adding again. - New nodes:
Dictionary.ValueAtPath,Table.SetColumn,Table.Unmatched,DateTime.Add,Difference,AddWorkdays,IsWeekendandFromExcelSerial,Math.IsClose,Directory.Find,CopyandMove,Web.Download,Path.Join,Graph.Folder,Flow.Require,IFC.IsGlobalId,IFC.Normalize,Clash.ResultsTable,Clash.FilterBySnapshot,ClashResult.ByGuid,Camera.SaveandRestore,Properties.SetCustomFromTableand more: the full list is inCHANGELOG.md. - For node pack authors:
[AcceptsNull],[ScalarInput],[LiveState],[NodePath],NodeWarnings.Add,PathResolverand the file-writing and model-changing flags are described indocs/EXTENDING.md.
Nothing in this release was tried inside Navisworks; docs/QA_CHECKLIST.md lists what to try.
Questions and problems: support@bimcamel.com, or the issue form on GitHub. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.
Only Navisworks Manage 2024 has been seen running CamelGraph in the field; 2025, 2026 and Simulate are built and installed the same way but not yet confirmed. Help > Run Self-Test checks the nodes against your own model.
Install (recommended)
- Download
CamelGraphSetup.exeand run it — a graphical installer puts the bundle in%APPDATA%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins(per-user, no admin rights) and registers an Add/Remove Programs entry. - If Windows SmartScreen appears (unsigned download), click More info → Run anyway.
- Start Navisworks Manage/Simulate 2024, 2025 or 2026 — the BIMCamel ribbon tab appears with the CamelGraph button.
Uninstall from Windows Settings → Apps → CamelGraph for Navisworks, or rerun the setup. Silent modes: CamelGraphSetup.exe /silent and CamelGraphSetup.exe /uninstall /silent.
Install (zip, scripted deployments)
Download and extract CamelGraph-v0.51.0-navisworks.zip, then run CamelGraphSetup.exe (or install-camelgraph.bat) from the extracted folder.
Troubleshooting — if Navisworks reports PLUGIN_LOAD_02 / 0x80131515 after a manual copy of the extracted bundle, Windows kept the browser's "downloaded file" mark on the DLLs; the setup exe and the .bat both strip it automatically. Manual fix: Get-ChildItem "$env:APPDATA\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\CamelGraph.bundle" -Recurse -File | Unblock-File in PowerShell.

CamelGraph v0.50.0 (personal use, Navisworks 2024-2026)
What is new since 0.49.0
- A new logo. The mark is the wire that climbs into a hump before it drops into the right-hand socket, between two node ends. The dark icon (installer, Windows Apps, Autodesk App Store) is a wash from deep blue to near-black instead of flat black. In the editor the mark still follows the theme: light on the dark palettes, dark on the Light one.
- The name in pixel letters. "CamelGraph" is drawn in the pixel letters of the BIMCamel wordmark on bimcamel.com, in the editor header and start screen, the About window and the installer.
- A new Script Player icon. A play triangle made of two wires that pass over and under a third, in the ribbon (black and white, like the CamelGraph button) and in the Script Player's header.
- The node library floats. It is a rounded card on the canvas, with a search box across its full width and round buttons to expand and collapse all categories. A HIDE tab on its edge hides it; a NODES tab on the edge of the canvas brings it back. Hiding it from the View menu or the command palette works as before.
- The Script Player looks like a tool panel. A header with its icon, cards for the script, the inputs and the results, and a footer with a wide Run button and three square buttons (reset, open in the editor, show in Explorer). The script folders open from the folder button in the header.
- Inputs, results and text boxes no longer look alike in the Script Player. Every label is bold; each input has a small tag for its kind of control (TEXT, NUMBER, CHOICE, COLOUR, FILE OR FOLDER, SELECTION; the on/off switch needs none); a number's name is above its field like every other field's. A result is a card with a green bar and an OUTPUT tag (red with ERROR when the node failed), and its value is in a monospace face with no box around it, so it cannot be mistaken for something you can type in.
- Run moves to the right edge of the editor header. It is a flat button as tall as the header. Just left of it is the Auto / Manual switch, then a separator, then undo, redo, previews, minimap and settings.
Questions and problems: support@bimcamel.com, or the issue form on GitHub. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.

CamelGraph v0.49.0 (personal use, Navisworks 2024-2026)

What is new since 0.48.0
- The program is now called CamelGraph (previously Dyncamelo), with a new logo: two node ends and the wire between them. The ribbon button, the editor, the installer, the Windows Apps entry, the reports and the privacy policy carry the new name. The logo follows the theme: light on the dark palettes, dark on the Light one.
- The files carry the new name too. The installer is
CamelGraphSetup.exe, the zipCamelGraph-v0.49.0-navisworks.zip, the bundleCamelGraph.bundlewithCamelGraph.App.dll,CamelGraph.Core.dlland the other libraries, the scriptinstall-camelgraph.bat. - Installing replaces an old Dyncamelo install. The installer and the batch file remove the old
Dyncamelo.bundlefolder and its entry in Windows Settings > Apps first, so you never end up with two plug-ins. The installer button says "Install (replaces Dyncamelo v…)" when it finds one. - Your settings, scripts and graphs carry over. The first start moves
%APPDATA%\Dyncameloto%APPDATA%\CamelGraph, and the Script Player listsDocuments\Dyncamelo\Scriptsonce so your scripts still show. Graphs saved by earlier versions open as before, and graphs saved now still open in older versions (the.dycformat has not changed). - Things that change for automation and node packs. The Navisworks plug-in ids are
CamelGraph.Command.DYNC,CamelGraph.DockPane.DYNC,CamelGraph.Launch.DYNC,CamelGraph.PlayerPane.DYNCandCamelGraph.Run.DYNC(the last wasDyncamelo.Run.DYNC). A node pack has to be built again againstCamelGraph.Core.dll. The custom property tab thatProperties.SetCustomwrites to by default is now CamelGraph Data (it was Dyncamelo Data).
Questions and problems: support@bimcamel.com, or the issue form on GitHub. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.

Dyncamelo v0.48.0 (personal use, Navisworks 2024-2026)
Dyncamelo for Autodesk Navisworks 2024, 2025 & 2026 — visual programming (node graphs) inside Navisworks. Personal-use edition: free for personal and other noncommercial use; a copy for professional use is coming soon to the Autodesk App Store.

What is new since 0.47.0
- One header row. The blue brand bar and the menu bar are merged: the BIMCamel logo and name, the menus, the name of the open script and the buttons share a single row, so the canvas gains a row. In a narrow pane the script name goes first, then the name text, and in a very narrow pane the menus fold into one ☰ button; the buttons always stay.
- A wide, solid Run button in the palette's main-action colour, with the Auto / Manual switch beside it (the on/off switch of the Boolean nodes).
- Three clash grouping nodes that did nothing now work.
Clash.GroupResultsBySameItem,Clash.GroupResultsByProximityandClash.GroupResultsByLevelreported success but left Clash Detective unchanged; they now change the clash tree like the other grouping nodes. A graph that reusesClashTest.Resultsafter one of them has to take the results again (the node's message says so). - Faster on big models and big tables:
Clash.GroupResultsandGroupResultsByProximity,Viewpoints.FromClashResults,SelectionSets.BulkByPropertyValues,Selection.Remove,BCF.ImportIssues,Proximity.NearestDistance,Table.Sort(a column that mixes numbers and text), and theDictionarylookups. The results are the same as before; the logic was tested against the old code, but the speed-ups have not been timed in Navisworks yet.

What is new since 0.46.0
- A start screen on an empty canvas. The installed version and edition, a link to bimcamel.com, a notice with a Get it button when a newer version exists, and cards: New script, your recent scripts and the examples. The cards go as soon as you open a script or add a node.
- A small search button next to tab and property names. Type the name as before, or press the magnifier to list the tabs and properties of that node's own element (or, on the nodes that search the whole model, of the elements selected in Navisworks). Nothing is read until you press it.
- Faster search nodes.
Search.ByPropertyand friends walk the model once instead of once per data type. - A new Script Player layout, and text boxes that no longer cut their text off.
- Icons for every node library category (Data, IFC, Report, System, Utility had none).
- Two editions, marked as such. The installer, the About window and the start screen say Personal use; Help > Autodesk App Store… is greyed out until the store copy exists.

Dyncamelo v0.46.0: source code release
This release is the source code only. It has no installer and no ready-to-install bundle. The "Source code" archives under Assets are GitHub's snapshot of the repository at this version. To run Dyncamelo, build it from source (README, "Build from source") with Navisworks 2024, 2025 or 2026 on Windows.
New licence
From this version Dyncamelo is licensed under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 (see LICENSE). It is free for personal use and other noncommercial use: hobby projects, learning, research, charities, schools, public bodies. Using it for work at a company, or in a paid project or product, needs a commercial licence from BIMCamel: open an issue titled "Commercial licence" or get in touch through bimcamel.com.
Releases up to 0.45.1 were published under Apache 2.0 with the Commons Clause. Copies you already have stay under that licence; its text is kept in docs/licenses.
What is new since 0.45.1
- Help > Run Self-Test runs 29 read-only checks on the Navisworks nodes against the open model and reports pass, fail or skip for each. The report goes to the clipboard.
- Help > Copy Diagnostics copies versions, the installed plug-in bundles, the libraries loaded and the end of the error log, with user and computer names replaced, ready to paste into an issue.
- A question before a graph from a file runs when it contains nodes that start programs, use the network or delete, move or overwrite files. A graph saved with automatic running is no longer run when it is opened from a file. New setting: Ask before running graphs from files.
- Help > Privacy Policy shows the privacy policy inside the app. Settings > Privacy switches the daily update check off.
- The Script Player also asks about scripts whose only risky nodes run programs or use the network.
- The node library no longer lists a stray "WatchTableNode" category.
- The ribbon tab is no longer merged with other BIMCamel tools' tabs (that code reached into Autodesk's ribbon assembly, which is not a public API).
- New documents: security policy, changelog, troubleshooting, QA checklist, issue forms, privacy policy. A pictured README.
