Is ZeroSMTP a trick — what's the actual catch?

Asking this ourselves before anyone else has to.

There is no paid tier to upsell into. The two limits are the whole offer, stated here rather than after you've already registered:

• Mail sends from a randomly generated @msgwing.com address, never your own domain.
• 200 messages a day, per account, with hourly/per-minute caps underneath that.

That's it. No credit card at signup, no "free trial" that turns into a bill. If your use case needs your own domain in the From address, ZeroSMTP is the wrong tool for you — see the alternatives page for what actually fits that case instead of pretending we do.
