Chart symbols from the CVFR legend (airfields, reporting points), legend rows, in-flight map buttons, own-aircraft icon (EN/HE)
Follow me: Public toggle under Share (works mid-share); own old public ids never shown (EN+HE)
Public share: see and be seen by every NavAid pilot; the NavAid pilots layer; tunables (EN+HE)
Signed Follow me, and a language that is no longer remembered
Both merged to main today.
- A follower reads and cannot write: every packet is ECDSA P-256 signed, the link
carries the verify half beside the encryption key, and the signature travels
inside the sealed object. The "anyone with the link can also publish" row in the
who-sees-what table was the thing this change was made to delete.
- A language is not stored. ?lang, else Hebrew -- every visit, not only the first.
The local storage page loses navaid.lang and gains navaid.followVerified.
Sweep: what the App Store build is, where the clock goes, and how to stop following
Four drifts found by checking the wiki against main:
- Offline and PWA said flatly that there is no iOS package, two sections above one
describing the App Store build in detail. Nothing is published yet and that is the
account, not the work: the embedded build, the privacy manifest, the listing metadata,
the screenshots and the CI check are all in the repo. Says so, in both languages, and
documents featureOtaUpdates and the files that implement the updater.
- The Map still said the clock is dim, never hidden. True on a desktop; a phone takes it
away now, and a live position puts it away everywhere.
- Follow me documented leaving a watch only as a side effect of pressing Follow me. A
follower asking "how do I stop following?" now gets the three ways out, and the reason
there is no leave button: the watch is the address.
- The local storage page was missing the build and OTA bookkeeping keys.
Document the safety notice, and what changed around it
A new page for the notice that now opens every launch: what it says, why nothing
is remembered, why it waits for the boot screen, and that its language control is
the app's language rather than the notice's.
Follow me gained the three things reported from the air: the banner prints the
heading the pilot is reading (magnetic, with the tilde that marks a compass
heading on a stationary aeroplane), the aeroplane is drawn above the chart canvas
instead of under a reporting point, and the route is offered only while there is
a live position -- with a plan already on the map not being a question at all,
and a "no" surviving a refresh.
Offline said more than the product does. "Runs fully offline once loaded" is now
what actually works without a connection, and the App Store build has its own
section: bundled app, charts through the Filesystem plugin, web fixes arriving
without a submission but only at a cold start.
The language page said the app defaults to English. It has defaulted to Hebrew
for a while, and the static pages that used to fall back to English -- and write
that fallback into the app's language -- no longer do.
The FAQ answers the question three separate bug reports were really asking: a
button that does nothing in the APK is a browser dialog the WebView never showed.

Document the phone layout, and what Follow me learned since
docs: say what Follow me does, not what it might not do
The page opened by telling the reader the feature is off until the gist turns
it on. That is the code default; it is not what anyone opening the app sees,
and it sat two screens above a tunables table that said the opposite. A page
that hedges about whether a feature exists makes the reader check before
reading the rest.
It is on, so the page says so. The tunables table now states plainly that its
values are what the live app runs with -- shipped defaults as the gist amends
them -- which is the only reading that is useful to someone holding the app.
The Hebrew step 2 still asked for an aircraft code; the app asks for an
identifier, and strips the space a phone keyboard adds after autocomplete. It
now matches the English.

docs: catch the wiki up with what shipped
Follow me was the urgent one: the page still described a link that a stop
deleted, that expired after 12 hours, and that a different aircraft code
replaced -- none of which is true since the link became one per device, kept
for good. It also recommended against the default it now ships with, and never
mentioned New link, which is the only way left to take a link back.
Also: the density-altitude slider that no longer exists (it follows the map
clock, and the runways now sit beside it); the map clock itself, which was
documented nowhere though every timed layer answers to it; the chart lock that
refuses CVFR/ATS/Low Alt with a route drawn; note rotation; the profile of a
saved route and of a recording, with its key and its PNG; the library's two
frames and Show filter; and that "download" means the share sheet on a phone.
Hebrew mirrors kept in step throughout.

Follow me: share before takeoff; Toolbar: a map tap closes the mobile menu
Follow me (EN + HE): sharing no longer requires Location or Record on first --
the link can be copied on the ground and sent ahead, and the copy confirmation
says positions start once a source is on. Publishing begins with the first fix.
Toolbar (EN + HE): on a phone, tapping the map closes an open menu -- both the
open section and the whole column collapse back to the hamburger; any map
interaction counts.
Follow me, offline CVFR, NOTAM sorting, turn predictor — and correct NOTAM source
New Follow me pages (EN + HE): sharing, watching, the restart-surviving session,
persistent-link flag, who-sees-what, tunables, and the two Python tools.
Offline-and-PWA rewritten for the automatic whole-chart CVFR pack (zooms 7–13,
route-corridor first, waits for an unmetered connection) instead of the old
four-chart manual download.
Extra layers: NOTAM list now documents relevance sorting and the Sort dropdown.
GPS track recording: the curved in-turn heading predictor, and a pointer to
Follow me. Features pages gain Follow me. Tuning panel and LocalStorage schema
cover the new follow-me / offline / predictor keys and the device-local
followMeSession and notamModalSize.
Corrects the NOTAM source across Extra Layers (EN + HE) and Toolbar: the feed is
the IAA Mobile AeroInfo site, not autorouter/EAD.
Sidebar gains Follow me in both languages.
