Wiki (EN/HE): route templates take frequency changes from the chart; which station by the leg flown (NMASD)

Wiki sweep (HE): same as the English sweep — menu split into Map + Settings, phone tabs and red Comm fail, edit column, centred questions, SIGMET layer and lists, decoder, movable hazard lists, aerodrome charts, NOTAMs in bubble/leg panels, symbols by zoom, LSA sites and route types
Frequency changes: Source column compared with nothing retired (EN/HE)
Wiki sweep: map control column (round buttons, voice/follow me/edit lock), retired freq-change rings, legend text, airfield/reporting-point tuning, broken anchors, LLSD (closed) → LLHZ, hotspot term (EN/HE)
Apply verified GitHub LTR spans across Hebrew guides
Isolate technical inline text left-to-right on Hebrew wiki pages
Update route-check, offline and deployment guides; fix Hebrew direction wrappers
Follow zoom bands, and the Freq table as it now reads
The Map gains what following does to the zoom: the first fix and the follow
switch both frame the view into a band you can fly with, 12-15 in a CTR and
10-14 outside, clamped rather than set -- and the resume after a pan deliberately
does not touch the zoom at all. Which of those two moments applies is the part
that was invisible from outside.
Frequency Changes catches up with the table: columns reordered to lead with the
value in force, rows named for their field and service, the aerodrome filter, the
sideways-scroll hint, clicking a NOTAM source to open it with the table left
open behind, and פמ״ת for the AIP in Hebrew.
Freq table: one ICAO-grouped list, a Source column, and what a NOTAM changes
The table is no longer three blocks sorted separately, it has an aerodrome
filter beside the search box, and every row says whether its value in force came
from the AIP or from a NOTAM.
The NOTAM rules are worth stating outright because two of them are easy to guess
wrong: Default never moves (a NOTAM is a change in force, not a new published
default), and reset undoes your edit rather than the NOTAM.
CVFR (AIP) layer, and frequencies a NOTAM changed
Map Layers gains the eighth base layer: what it carries that the extracted CVFR
set does not, how it is placed on the sheets' own conic graticule, and which
printed panels are cut out of it.
Frequency Changes replaces 'the app points, you decide' with what the app now
does: the NOTAM's frequency in the field's own row, ringed, following the call
sign into the waypoint inspector and the Freq column, gone when the NOTAM is --
plus the table of what is deliberately NOT parsed, and the pointer badge that
still covers everything else.
docs: a proven turn is not the pilot's to move, and the freq button is dimmed there
A leg that doubles back settles the turn: the inspector states it, offers no
button, and names the turn on every other waypoint of that route. The mark is
what a route without proof gets, and proof outranks a mark left from before.
At the turn, Add frequency change is now dimmed with the reason on it rather
than removed -- so the page no longer tells you to add one by hand there.
Also drops a stale duplicate of the 'turning point changes three things' block
left behind by the earlier rewrite.
Drop retired-mechanism prose: describe what the app does now
The wiki carried several 'X was retired / no longer exists / used to sit in Y'
notes — the weserv tile proxy, the split dataset files, the comm-change file,
the simulator toolbar section, the callout's former angle. History belongs in
the changelog; a reference page should state the current path once.
Left alone: 'legacy'/'historical' entries that name directories and migration
keys that genuinely still exist and still run (EN + HE).
Document the in-flight controls, the press/release inspector rule, and the new tunables (EN + HE)
The map: the bottom-right control column (orientation, follow lock, assistant
launcher, bearing dial), the touch-screen centre crosshair, and the rule that no
press opens the inspector until it is released.
GPS: the altitude alert cap, the 15-second notification life, the compass
fallback below 3 kt, heading-up orientation, and the layout lock while a fix is
driving the map.
Tuning panel: the cumulative-kite and freq-callout angles, and a table of the
in-flight constants with their defaults.
AI assistant: the launcher ships hidden; how to turn it on.
Wiki review: heading line, sim alerts, freq-change suppression, Advanced field resets
EN + HE kept in sync.
Wiki: frequency NOTAMs, the mail preamble, and the editor's new export shape
Sweep of all 81 pages against what shipped since the last one. Three real gaps, one
of them advice that had become wrong.
Frequency-Changes: documents the airfield-inspector marker for an active NOTAM that
mentions a frequency, and — more importantly — why it names the NOTAM and never a
value. A NOTAM frequency is true today, not in general, and a mis-parse would put a
pilot on the wrong frequency. The app points; the pilot reads and decides.
Submit-Flight-Plan: the filed mail now opens with a plain-language summary above the
ICAO block. Records the split that matters: the preamble follows the UI language, the
(FPL-...) block is never translated because its contents are codes. Also that a
landing time is dropped rather than invented when departure or EET is missing.
Hidden-Tools: the editor advice was WRONG, not merely stale. The page said point mode
"exports JSON for pasting back into a dataset"; it now exports a route-graph `nodes`
fragment that must be MERGED into the nodes map. Pasting it over a graph would destroy
the file. Also notes the ride-through of unedited fields, UNNAMED_n placeholders for
un-named points, and that edges are not exported.
Checked and clean: no page quotes the corrected 125.60, and nothing documents
closedHint (removed from CVFR) or the one-way corrections, so nothing there went
stale. Changelog left alone — it is generated.
Wiki: the last two pages still naming a retired comm-change dataset
Frequency-Changes and Features both told the reader that frequency changes come
from docs/data/<prefix>-comm-change.json. That file was retired with the rest:
comm-change points ride on the route graph's nodes now (commChange + callSigns)
and are projected back into the old shape at run time, so what the app consumes is
unchanged but the path in the docs was wrong.
Completes the sweep -- every remaining mention of *-comm-change.json,
*-nav-waypoints.json and *-leg-altitude.json in the wiki is now explicitly
historical ("were retired", "no longer exist"), not an instruction to go and read
a file that is not there.
docs: align wiki with current NavAid behavior
docs: fix stale/incorrect UI locations in wiki instructions
Toolbar menus are Edit / View-Set / Display / Charts / Export-import /
Extra layers / Print (Toolbar.md is the accurate reference). Corrected pages
that still named old sections or said 'in the toolbar' for menu items:
- Add waypoint, Add note → Edit menu (not 'the toolbar')
- Flight plan, Freq table, Templates, Alt pairs → Charts menu (he: 'מפות'→'דפיות')
- Open in Google Earth → Export/import menu (was 'Route section')
- Find → Edit; Force snap → View/Set; Highlight diff → View/Set
- Show return path is in Edit, not View (fixed Features tables + Flight-Plan)
- Delete waypoint is in the inspector, not the toolbar
- Quick-Start / Home / Fuel / Layers / User-Guide / Google-Earth (en+he)
docs(wiki): reconcile pages with current app (running + source audit)
Audited all pages against the live app source. Key corrections:
- Dataset counts: nav-waypoints 172 (was 256/238/173), airfields 27 (was 16);
BYOP 142 PDFs / ~97 MB.
- Data paths: docs/data/*.json (comm-change, vor, nav-waypoints, airfields).
- Toolbar: 7 sections incl. Simulator; renamed Edit / View-Set / Export-import;
FDR export, Saved routes, SIGMET/wind/keep-kites/MSA toggles; magnifier opens 1x.
- Keyboard: +/- zoom the map (loupe only when magnifier on); add F/A/N/C/R/B.
- Storage keys: navaid.mapOpacity.v2, navaid.showVorStations, navaid.sec.sim,
toolbarCollapsed default 0.
- Architecture: script load order adds terrain.js, alt-pair-directions.js, gdrive.js.
- Export tiles via navaid-tiles.supino.org (not images.weserv.nl); SW cache navaid-v5;
deploy concurrency cancel-in-progress:false; CI path docs/data/nav-waypoints.json.
- i18n: English defaults live in core.js; docs/i18n/<lang>/strings.js (en empty); default locale English.
- Inspector-he: drop invented fields (Set Course, Type, note size, 5 shapes -> rect/oval).
- Freq: 52 comm-change points; Default label; freq-table scope. Charts-Modal-he: AIP May 2026.
- Quick-Start/Home/User-Guide (he): remove nonexistent Fly/calculate button (routing is live).
Document freq-defaults table, CSV export, and Google Earth fly-through overhaul
- Frequency Changes (+he): local frequency-override table (Freq table button), validated MHz input, Template/reset rows
- Print and Export (+he) / Features: flight-plan CSV export (UTF-8 BOM)
