  • Recent features: OpenFlightMaps and World layers, offline packs, magnetic variation, dial and heading readout - Map Layers (EN/HE): OpenFlightMaps and World (offline); the world map is always under every chart, and failed tiles are transparent. - Offline and PWA (EN/HE): any chart, several at once; OpenFlightMaps by area with a detail picker; Satellite and OSM stay online and why; the world map needs no download. - Features, Toolbar, Flight Plan, Route and Legs (EN/HE where the section exists): magnetic variation is automatic (World Magnetic Model) or manual, replacing 'fixed at 5°E'. - Bearing dial (EN/HE): the needle is a north arrow, the number is magnetic, a drag follows the finger. GPS Track Recording (EN/HE): the heading-up readout is magnetic. - LocalStorage schema: navaid.magVarAuto/Manual, navaid.offlinePacks, navaid.commFail. • docs: the profile comparison, the expanded view, and a readout that fits A recording can now be drawn against the plan it was flown to -- and against any saved route, without loading it, which is the part worth writing down: the route on the map is not replaced to answer a question about a past flight. Both lines share one distance scale, so a flight that turned back early looks short rather than being stretched to agree with its plan. Both kinds of profile gained an expand button, and the live readout now trims itself to the panel rather than being cut by it -- with the order it drops fields in, since that is the part a pilot would otherwise have to infer. The compass heading reads ~045° now, not 045m. The old mark sat beside an altitude in feet and read as metres. And the panel's copy of the map clock appears only when something on screen answers to a clock: a waypoint or an ADS-B aircraft has nothing that does. • docs: state what is on, checked against the live configuration Audited every boolean tunable the app has -- 66 of them -- against the shipped default as the tuning gist amends it, and compared that with every claim the wiki makes, in both languages: table rows of the form `key` | `true`, and prose saying on / off / דלוק / כבוי next to a key. One was wrong. Live traffic ships ON from the gist; two pages said it ships off, which would send a reader hunting the tuning panel for a switch that is already thrown. The tuning panel's Follow me line also still described the old model -- one link per aircraft, kept forever, as an option. It is one link per DEVICE, kept for good, and there are two newer switches beside it. Five keys where the code default and the gist disagree are why this needs checking rather than reading: featureFollowMe, featureLiveTraffic, featureRouteIntro, defaultShowHotspots, defaultHighlightDiff. The wiki documents the live value, which is what someone holding the app has. • docs: catch the wiki up with what shipped Follow me was the urgent one: the page still described a link that a stop deleted, that expired after 12 hours, and that a different aircraft code replaced -- none of which is true since the link became one per device, kept for good. It also recommended against the default it now ships with, and never mentioned New link, which is the only way left to take a link back. Also: the density-altitude slider that no longer exists (it follows the map clock, and the runways now sit beside it); the map clock itself, which was documented nowhere though every timed layer answers to it; the chart lock that refuses CVFR/ATS/Low Alt with a route drawn; note rotation; the profile of a saved route and of a recording, with its key and its PNG; the library's two frames and Show filter; and that "download" means the share sheet on a phone. Hebrew mirrors kept in step throughout. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_016GmLy5kufzfY8roPqZUBeZ

  • Follow me, offline CVFR, NOTAM sorting, turn predictor — and correct NOTAM source New Follow me pages (EN + HE): sharing, watching, the restart-surviving session, persistent-link flag, who-sees-what, tunables, and the two Python tools. Offline-and-PWA rewritten for the automatic whole-chart CVFR pack (zooms 7–13, route-corridor first, waits for an unmetered connection) instead of the old four-chart manual download. Extra layers: NOTAM list now documents relevance sorting and the Sort dropdown. GPS track recording: the curved in-turn heading predictor, and a pointer to Follow me. Features pages gain Follow me. Tuning panel and LocalStorage schema cover the new follow-me / offline / predictor keys and the device-local followMeSession and notamModalSize. Corrects the NOTAM source across Extra Layers (EN + HE) and Toolbar: the feed is the IAA Mobile AeroInfo site, not autorouter/EAD. Sidebar gains Follow me in both languages.

  • Match the shortened GPS button labels (Record/Stop, Location/Hide; הקלטה/עצור, מיקום/הסתר) The buttons were relabelled so the closed menu row survives a large system font; the wiki still quoted the old wording (EN + HE).

  • Alerts: name Garmin as one example of notification mirroring, not the mechanism They are ordinary device notifications; anything already mirroring the phone shows them. Singling out Garmin Connect read as a requirement (EN + HE).

  • he: own-ship is a מטוס, not a ספינה The Hebrew pages carried 'ספינה-שלכם' — a literal rendering of 'own-ship' that reads as a boat. Replaced with סמן המטוס / מיקום המטוס שלכם across the GPS, Features, Toolbar and Changelog pages.

  • Document the in-flight controls, the press/release inspector rule, and the new tunables (EN + HE) The map: the bottom-right control column (orientation, follow lock, assistant launcher, bearing dial), the touch-screen centre crosshair, and the rule that no press opens the inspector until it is released. GPS: the altitude alert cap, the 15-second notification life, the compass fallback below 3 kt, heading-up orientation, and the layout lock while a fix is driving the map. Tuning panel: the cumulative-kite and freq-callout angles, and a table of the in-flight constants with their defaults. AI assistant: the launcher ships hidden; how to turn it on.

  • Document the in-flight alerts, cone leg tracking and spoken alerts The alert feature had no wiki coverage at all. Adds a section to the GPS page (EN + HE) covering the five alerts and, importantly, the reasoning a pilot needs rather than just the list: - everything is measured against the PLAN, not live GPS speed - a leg is the overlap of a 90-degree cone from each end, so rejoining mid-route or flying a route backwards tracks correctly, and being outside every leg is a state the app can finally express - the off-route alert names the nearest waypoint still AHEAD, never one already overflown - browser speech is fine for testing but stops when the tab backgrounds; the APK's native speech is the one to fly with. Said plainly, because the failure mode is silent. - headings and frequencies are read digit by digit Also documents the live readout now carrying magnetic heading beside speed and altitude, and that drift stays quiet for 30 s after a TOP.
