  • Recent features: OpenFlightMaps and World layers, offline packs, magnetic variation, dial and heading readout - Map Layers (EN/HE): OpenFlightMaps and World (offline); the world map is always under every chart, and failed tiles are transparent. - Offline and PWA (EN/HE): any chart, several at once; OpenFlightMaps by area with a detail picker; Satellite and OSM stay online and why; the world map needs no download. - Features, Toolbar, Flight Plan, Route and Legs (EN/HE where the section exists): magnetic variation is automatic (World Magnetic Model) or manual, replacing 'fixed at 5°E'. - Bearing dial (EN/HE): the needle is a north arrow, the number is magnetic, a drag follows the finger. GPS Track Recording (EN/HE): the heading-up readout is magnetic. - LocalStorage schema: navaid.magVarAuto/Manual, navaid.offlinePacks, navaid.commFail. • docs: the profile comparison, the expanded view, and a readout that fits A recording can now be drawn against the plan it was flown to -- and against any saved route, without loading it, which is the part worth writing down: the route on the map is not replaced to answer a question about a past flight. Both lines share one distance scale, so a flight that turned back early looks short rather than being stretched to agree with its plan. Both kinds of profile gained an expand button, and the live readout now trims itself to the panel rather than being cut by it -- with the order it drops fields in, since that is the part a pilot would otherwise have to infer. The compass heading reads ~045° now, not 045m. The old mark sat beside an altitude in feet and read as metres. And the panel's copy of the map clock appears only when something on screen answers to a clock: a waypoint or an ADS-B aircraft has nothing that does. • docs: catch the wiki up with what shipped Follow me was the urgent one: the page still described a link that a stop deleted, that expired after 12 hours, and that a different aircraft code replaced -- none of which is true since the link became one per device, kept for good. It also recommended against the default it now ships with, and never mentioned New link, which is the only way left to take a link back. Also: the density-altitude slider that no longer exists (it follows the map clock, and the runways now sit beside it); the map clock itself, which was documented nowhere though every timed layer answers to it; the chart lock that refuses CVFR/ATS/Low Alt with a route drawn; note rotation; the profile of a saved route and of a recording, with its key and its PNG; the library's two frames and Show filter; and that "download" means the share sheet on a phone. Hebrew mirrors kept in step throughout. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_016GmLy5kufzfY8roPqZUBeZ

  • docs: a proven turn is not the pilot's to move, and the freq button is dimmed there A leg that doubles back settles the turn: the inspector states it, offers no button, and names the turn on every other waypoint of that route. The mark is what a route without proof gets, and proof outranks a mark left from before. At the turn, Add frequency change is now dimmed with the reason on it rather than removed -- so the page no longer tells you to add one by hand there. Also drops a stale duplicate of the 'turning point changes three things' block left behind by the earlier rewrite.

  • docs: the turning point is filing first, drawing second It was written as a display aid -- the direction picker's prerequisite -- with the flight plan a footnote. The reason to mark one is that an out-and-back is filed as ONE plan: the return route joins at the turn, the turn point appears once in the filed sequence, the plan lands at the return's final point, and the sortie is named by where it turns everywhere it is listed or exported. The map behaviour follows.

  • docs: cover the out-and-back split, the track limit, and the dial's keyboard The map now draws a leg flown both ways as two lines (splitRetracedLegs / retracedLegOffsetPx), a track may be flown twice at most and the builder enforces it, Clear map returns the direction picker to Both, and the rotate dial is operable from the keyboard.

  • docs: cover the recent map, charts, print and overlay changes - Extra layers: CVFR routes now cover all twelve fields that publish a route plate, two of them printed rotated; document the tick-snapped georeferencing and scripts/georef-plate.py. - The map: the in-flight controls wear the chart's own VOR symbol and a compass that reads out the track. - Route and legs: the turning point is offered only on a route that comes home. - Print and export: Fit page to route picks the sheet, Clear map takes the frame with the route, and the X-Plane FMS format is listed. - Charts modal: one width across both screens, back button and category chips stay on screen. - Offline and PWA: what the loading screen draws and how long it holds. - Waypoints and notes: the Show hotspots toggle and direction-aware hiding.

  • Document the route-direction picker, turning points and the return path shipping off EN + HE kept in sync.

  • Document add-mode kite exemption and CTR-leg kite behaviour Covers the behaviour shipped in #1551: - add mode never grabs a kite (taps always place a waypoint) - a kite that is not drawn is not hit-testable, including a CTR leg's default-hidden kites - the cumulative kite's tip clears the waypoint circle it points at EN + HE kept in sync (The-Map, Route-and-Legs).

  • Wiki sweep: retired datasets, corridor auto-route, and the new tuning group Follow-up sweep after the route-graph work, checking every page rather than the three already touched. Directory-Structure, Offline-and-PWA: both still listed *-nav-waypoints.json, *-leg-altitude.json and *-comm-change.json as the per-layer datasets. Those files were retired; each layer now ships one *-route-graph.json and the old shapes are projected from it at run time by route-graph-shapes.js. Offline also named heli-nav-waypoints.json as the cached navigation dataset. Route-and-Legs: corridor auto-route was documented NOWHERE outside the generated changelog, though it is a shipped toolbar toggle that changes what a route contains. Adds it under Building, with the part that matters most -- army airways and ATC-approval corridors are never spliced in even when shortest, and cannot appear in a filed plan, while remaining visible on the map and keeping any point the pilot places by hand. Also states the closed/time-gated fallback rule: a hint steers the choice, it never makes a published route unfileable. Tuning-Panel: adds the Graph legs review category for the ?graphlegs=1 knobs. Changelog left alone -- it carries an auto-changelog marker and is generated.

  • wiki: English counterparts for seven pages, and correct four false claims Eight pages existed only in Hebrew, so an English reader had no equivalent for those topics. Seven now have one — The Map, Route and Legs, Waypoints and Notes, Inspector, Bearing dial, Airport charts, Fuel — and each Hebrew page's 🇬🇧 link now points at its counterpart instead of at Home. The eighth, Layers-he, duplicated Map-Layers-he (the same base-layer table in different words), so it is now a pointer to the canonical pages rather than a second English copy of them. Writing them meant checking the Hebrew against the code, and four claims did not survive: - **Fuel** described an aircraft-type dropdown (C172/PA28/SR22), tank capacity, a reserve setting, AvGas/Jet-A1 and a surplus/deficit readout. The aircraft model is `{gph, taxiGal}` — none of that exists. A pilot could have planned fuel believing the app checks reserve against endurance. Both pages now state what is computed (leg = time × gph, total + one taxi allowance when departing a field) and, explicitly, what is not. - **Inspector** listed a free-text note field on a waypoint plus distance-from-previous, bearing-to-next and a sequence number. The real panel has name, coordinates, satellite thumbnail, VOR ref, add-freq-change, delete and reset; those other three are Flight Plan columns. Corrected, and the leg panel (speed, heading, inbound/outbound altitude, MSA, reset marker, add identification point) documented for the first time. - **The Map** claimed 238 VFR reporting points and green waypoint circles. The CVFR set has 172, and the discs are pale yellow (`waypointFillColor`), amber when selected. - **Route and Legs** offered a per-leg free-text note. There is no such field; annotate with a map note or a leg-anchored identification point. Also fixed a Russian word that had slipped into Bearing-Dial-he ("лחיצות случайיות" -> "מקריות"), and added the new pages to the sidebar beside their topic neighbours. 79 pages, every internal link resolves, and the only remaining Hebrew-only page is the merged Layers-he pointer.
