From Source:

  • 1.5GB of RAM per make job
  • CMake
  • GCC-4.8 (4.9 for GPU processing)
  • Openmpi

Faster uses dynamic library loading do save memory, so it is important to Fasters dynamic libraries be in the path. Right now, the best way to do this is to copy the libfaster directory to the directory contining the binery that will run.
