It would be appreciated if the Description Extractor would accept 2 FASTA files (reference and query), an alignment (cluster) or blast file:
if accesion is provided and is NM take into account the known ATG codon for the description c. (do not start at 1, but at ATG)
- if accession is not provided: start from nucleotide 1, as now.
Is cumbersome to use as it only takes plain text (without spaces or headings)
My main goal is to use it in lectures to explain the concept of HGVS to medical students, so I need easy-to-use online tools like yours.
