Abstract:

This proposal introduces a built-in MySQL Health Monitor for on-premises environments to improve operational visibility, diagnostics, and proactive resource monitoring directly from the server. The feature would expose critical health metrics through SQL-accessible interfaces and help DBAs detect resource pressure before it impacts stability.
