Precise synchronization of devices over BLE could be desirable for any embedded system where timing is a critical concern. We list a few examples:

  • Synchronizing data collection from two inertial measurement units to model precise motions, which could be further applied to medical devices or augmented reality
  • Audio synchronization between multiple wireless speakers, allowing audio to be played over a large area
  • Devices used with augmented reality scenarios that must be closely in sync with the rest of the system to maintain an immersive experience
