🍿 Binge Mode (Experimental)

A new opt-in mode for TV shows, anime, and animated series. Turn it on from the phone remote and Rattin auto-skips intros and outros, carries your audio and subtitle picks forward, and rolls into the next episode on its own.

  • Auto-skip intros and outros — using crowdsourced timestamps and your own skips (Rattin learns where credits actually start for each show)
  • Auto-advance — the next episode plays automatically when the current one finishes
  • Audio/subtitle picks carry over — set your preferred language or subtitle track once and it sticks across every episode
  • Seamless transitions — the next episode loads in the background so there's no buffering gap at the handoff
  • Off by default — flip the toggle on the remote when you want it; movies don't show the option since there's no next episode

🎬 Better Intro/Outro Detection

Expanded marker coverage so more shows get automatic skip points.

  • Live-action TV and animated series — added a new community source (IntroDB) alongside the existing anime provider, so shows that weren't covered before now get intro/outro skips
  • Correct season for multi-season anime — marker lookups now use the right season number instead of always falling back to season 1

📱 Phone Remote Redesign

The remote's been reorganized so controls are easier to find on a phone.

  • Labeled sections — Audio, Subtitles, Content, and Binge Mode each have their own clearly-marked area
  • Compact buttons — Episodes, Next Ep, and Sources sit side-by-side instead of stacking full-width
  • More readable — section labels, control labels, and episode info have a contrast bump for clear legibility on the dark remote background
  • Toggle state sticks — navigating away from the remote and back preserves your Binge Mode setting

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Track picks no longer reset between episodes — audio and subtitle choices persist across auto-advance
  • Accurate end-of-episode detection — the next episode now kicks in at the real end of the stream, even when file metadata overstates the duration
