Release v0.2.4
NerazimNet v0.2.4
Improvements
- Remote Port auto-fills in Add Tunnel. Prefills with the next free port —
max(used)+1across every tunnel'sremote_portandextra_portsremote sides (range upper bounds included), or10000for your first tunnel. Always editable; Local VPS Service routes are skipped since that field is the app's own port. - Documentation screenshots refreshed. 19 images recaptured on the new theme — installer wizard, first-run dialogs, empty views, all Settings tabs, collapsed sidebar, tray icon + menu, and the Add Server/Tunnel dialogs. A few slots (populated dashboard, edit dialogs, provisioning dialog) still use older captures.
Bug Fixes
- Ctrl+C no longer orphans Syncthing. Interrupting the app in a console now runs the normal shutdown path — previously
syncthing.exekept running with its executable and ports locked.
Release v0.2.3
NerazimNet v0.2.3
Improvements
- Active-view indicator in the sidebar. The nav item for the view you're on is now highlighted with a slate accent (derived from the theme's scrollbar color), with light text and icon so it reads cleanly in both light and dark mode. Works collapsed too — the icon-only rail still shows the active view.
Release v0.2.2
NerazimNet v0.2.2
Bug Fixes
- Correct app icon restored. v0.2.0 shipped the wrong glyph (a rounded chain-link icon). The window/tray icon, in-app logo, and macOS
.icnsare now rebuilt from the authentic pixel-art "N" asset. - Disabled dropdown/button text readable again.
text_color_disabledfor buttons and option menus was a light gray intended for dark surfaces — on the lime-green fill it washed out (visible on the disabled "Server" dropdown). Disabled text now uses muted variants of the enabled color in both modes. - Disabled option menus now display their placeholder ("No servers configured") instead of the default "CTkOptionMenu" label.
Release v0.2.1
NerazimNet v0.2.1
Highlights
- ARM64 VPS support. Provisioning now detects the remote CPU architecture via
uname -mand downloads the matching frps archive, so ARM VPS tiers work out of the box — Hetzner CAX, Oracle Cloud Ampere, AWS Graviton. amd64, arm64, arm (v6/v7), and 386 are mapped; anything else fails with a clear message instead of installing a broken binary. - Port ranges in Extra Service Ports. Layer-4 schemes accept ranges —
udp:50000-50020:localhost:50000-50020— rendered as a single FRPrange:proxy, one Nginx streamlistenrange (proxied via$server_port), and aufw lo:hirule. Built for LiveKit/WebRTC-style services that need contiguous UDP blocks. Ranges require araw:/tcp:/udp:scheme and equal-length remote/local ranges. - Desktop notifications on tunnel drops. When a running tunnel errors, you get an OS notification; another fires when it reconnects. Transitions only — no repeat spam while a tunnel stays down, and no alerts for deliberate stops. Tray balloon on Windows, Notification Center via
osascripton macOS,notify-sendon Linux.
Development
- 11 new tests (36 total): arch mapping,
extra_portsrange parsing and frpc config rendering, Nginx stream template output, and notification transition behavior.
Release v0.2.0
NerazimNet v0.2.0
Highlights
- macOS and Linux support. NerazimNet now runs on all three desktop platforms — download
NerazimNet_macOS.ziporNerazimNet_Linux.tar.gzfrom this release. Note the macOS build is unsigned: right-click → Open, or runxattr -dr com.apple.quarantineon the app, on first launch. - Tunnels now survive app exit and reboot. frpc is owned by a headless OS-managed daemon (Scheduled Task on Windows,
systemd --useron Linux, LaunchAgent on macOS) instead of the GUI. Closing NerazimNet no longer stops your tunnels — they restart automatically at login, and crashed frpc processes respawn on their own. The GUI is only needed to make changes.
Improvements
- New Nerazim insignia icon (proper multi-size
.ico/.icns) and a Dark-Templar teal theme sampled from the artwork. - Dark-mode icon variants for all UI glyphs — the loader picks
dark/versions automatically. - README refreshed for the FRP workflow, with a screenshot audit tracking which images need recapture.
Bug Fixes
- Tunnel status polling and test HTTP calls no longer honor system/env proxy settings for loopback requests — a configured proxy could previously make running tunnels appear dead forever.
- Fixed a macOS deadlock when spawning frpc (
preexec_fnfork-safety issue; now usesstart_new_session). - Fixed transparent-button text color so sidebar, dialog, and settings labels are readable in both light and dark mode.
Development
- pytest suite with a fake
frpcstub (tests/fake_frpc.py) exercising the real TunnelManager/DaemonRunner — no VPS needed. CI now runs tests on Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS, and releases gate on them.
Release v0.1.4
NerazimNet v0.1.4
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the repeating Windows Firewall prompt. Bundled executables were launched from PyInstaller's temporary
_MEI*folder, which changes every launch — so the firewall rule never matched and Windows asked again each time.syncthing.exeandfrpc.exenow run from a stable%APPDATA%\NerazimNet\binpath. You'll see the prompt one last time, then never again. - Added a "Fix Firewall Access" button (Settings → Devices) for cases where access was accidentally denied. It recreates the allow rules via a one-time administrator prompt — no more hunting through Windows Firewall settings.
Release v0.1.3
NerazimNet v0.1.3
Fixes
- Dark-mode icons
- All toolbar/sidebar icons now have mint-tinted dark-mode variants in
resources/images/dark/; the image loader picks them up automatically. - Colored icons (status dots, start/stop) keep their colors with a light lift.

Release v0.1.2
NerazimNet v0.1.2
Fixes
- Theme contrast
- Transparent buttons (sidebar nav, Cancel, Forgot Password, Generate Key
Pair) now use the theme label color instead of the green-button text
color — readable in both light and dark modes. - Segmented buttons and Settings tabs use a deeper green for the selected
state so tab text stays legible on both selected and unselected segments.
