Witsy becomes incredibly slow with a few MCP's added--need method of trimming down tool lists

I discovered that when I have MCP's enabled (I have 3 setup), all providers and models become extremely slow because the MCP's are adding so much tokens to the request. Is there any way to trim down the tool descriptions and/or only enable certain tools? (For example, I have a Gmail server configured; to reduce the amount of tools that is overloading the models, I would like to disable all the tools from that server except the email search function.)

Hello,

you can disable a MCP server as a whole but not individual tools.

List of tools and descriptions come from the MCP server itself.

Of course, it would be possible to add some kind of middleware in Witsy to filter the tools / update the descriptions but honestly that would be a very niche feature which sounds more like a hack and I don't think I want to go that road.

The simplest is probably to fork the MCP server and adjust it to your needs.
