0.0.3 — NeKernel

In brief:

A milestone regarding nekernel's development.
As we are heading towards 1.0.0, this release—
help us solidify the OS, and introduce new concepts and better hardware support.

Some changes:

  • Virtual EPM disk layout, and DriveMgr related patches.
  • UserProcessScheduler and HardwareThreadScheduler improvements and patches.
  • KernelTaskScheduler for kernel tasks.
  • CoreProcessScheduler improvements and patches.
  • PIO+Generic has had breaking changes, and is being reworked.
  • A basic RTL8139 driver for the NetworkKit.
  • libOpenMsg.sys layer abstracting over the kernel's IPC.
  • Introducing libSystem.sys, replacing user.sys.
  • Bug fixes and improvements on the codebase.
