Multiple files

Does splat allow for (or aim to allow for) test cases with multiple files - modules depending on each other?
(I expect only the main one would have the .splat extension and the %output stuff)

I'd like to try using it for elm-in-elm/compiler but I'd need this functionality first.

Sorry for the delayed response; somehow the email for this issue slipped through the cracks.

Currently, there is no built-in support for multiple source files. It will have to be done carefully to keep splat language-agnostic, as different compiler CLIs accept args differently. I'd be happy to discuss potential designs.

The current way to accommodate compiler idiosyncrasies is via the binding script indirection (example: bind_gcc.sh). A script like this can be modified as follows to include multiple files:

compiler-cli -o test_binary file_2.lang  file_3.lang  $1 
./test_binary

Here, $1 refers to the transient .lang file produced by splat, which presumably contains the entry point.
