Spacebar not working in code editor (Windows 11, Google Chrome)

Please describe the bug below and include any steps to reproduce the bug or screenshots if possible.

On Windows 11 and Google Chrome, hitting the spacebar types nothing in the code editor. I've tried it in incognito mode and still have the issue.
When I switch to Microsoft Edge, I don't have the issue.
