A calm, native macOS disk analyzer. Aster Disk reads what's on your drive, shows it as a treemap (or sunburst, or bubble pack), and offers a transparent set of cleanup suggestions you can review one by one before anything moves.
🚧 Aster Disk is in TestFlight beta. The public Mac App Store release lands shortly.
- Visualize — Mondrian treemap, sunburst, bubble pack, or quiet horizontal bars. Drill into any folder with a click.
- Find big stuff — old downloads, forgotten Xcode build caches, stale iOS simulator runtimes, decade-old screenshots cluttering your Desktop, and more rule-based suggestions tuned for typical Mac usage.
- Uninstall apps cleanly — right-click any
.appbundle to see every related cache, container, preference, log, and launch agent. Tick what to remove, click once. - Browse Installed Apps — sortable list of every
.appon your Mac with one-click uninstall. - Understand any folder — right-click and pick "What is this?" for a plain-English explanation. Curated knowledge base + optional Apple Intelligence fallback for the long tail (on-device only).
- See what changed — re-scanning a folder shows the diff: top growers, total delta, per-path deltas.
Aster Disk runs entirely on your Mac. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting, no cloud sync, no user accounts, no email signup. Your scan results, settings, and trophy progress all live on your computer and never leave it.
