Any interest in an Android App?

I think this is the best WebUI I’ve come across, and I’m considering creating an Android app that is primarily a WebView wrapper with a few enhancements. Is there any interest in something like that?

Been using this Android App and WebUI for a tiny bit, but I'd be very curious if there is plans to update / refine the UI? I see Hermex seems to be the WebUI for IOS and it's beautiful, but the Browser WebUI and Android Skin could use some refinement to get that ChatGPT / Open WebUI / Claude style.

Would love to hear about it. Or even if there's a possibility we can inject our own css or code for visual skins.

I don't have an iPhone, so I have not see what it looks like. But it would not be a terrible idea. My goal for the Android app is to be as minimal as possible, so any updates that WebUI gets, the android app automatically gets with little effort on our part. Makes it easy to maintain.

Any enhancements that I want on the app, i can contribute to the main project, so everyone gets to benefit from it, PWA and Android users alike. I think that I would have someone put time into making Webui (and android) look better. I am not a graphics designer, I am a Database Administrator by trade, so I dont know the artistic talents to make that kind of change. But if anyone did want to, i would work with them to either refine WebUI, the current android app, or work on an enhanced version with them.

I very much enjoy UX/UI design, I actually went through college for Graphic Design but then started work as a Solutions Architect for Data center hardware.

I would love to talk with you or whoever is leading WebUI and see what I can do to help with the design on WebUI including the Android app. I do agree with your choice to keep it minimal so it's feature and visual parity with the Desktop interface, but I do have some small features that may be useful to self hosters.

Would love to talk, let me know what is the best path for that. I have discord or email.

That would be @nesquena or @nesquena-hermes (one of them is him for sure!) He would know who can help with the UX/UI. I took on the Android Project to help out, but I am no app developer!

The WebUI isnt bad by any means, but I would love to see it get better. All the changes I been trying to get through are to make the UI easier to use.
