I just want the WebUI - Need help

I just want to run the WebUI, but use my backend agent installation. That is, similar to what I do with Telegram, but with more functionality.
I admit though very technical, I'm a bit lost on this one. Every option I see, every guide and compose file, seems to expect I want to run Hermes AND WebUI.
Am I barking up the wrong tree here?

The first indication of confusion and trouble is that I'm trying to have it reference an mcp server (mcp/vault for obsidian) and it thinks it needs to spawn the container itself, rather than relying on the backend agent to handle all that as works with Telegram.
Any guidance would be so gratefully received! Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

So, I think I have figured it out. Is this the right way? But it does seem like there's a lot of things that don't work so well. Like... How do I change profiles?
