Migrate site v.3.3.5->4.4.6

I need to migrate site with many assets. Exporting assets to .csv and importing does not work. I changed column order, deleted all not necassary columns - neither worked. Finally, my test import file consists of two lines only:

Thanks for sharing the example. This is a common point of confusion.

The easy-to-miss detail here is that the default CSV export is not the same format expected by bulk import. Exported CSV files use human-friendly column titles, while bulk import expects the exact field names shown under CSV Field Options on the import page, as described in the bulk import docs.

In your example, Site is not a recognized header; the importer expects site (lowercase). That is why NetBox reports that site, name, slug, and status are missing. Please rename the headers to match the supported field names exactly, and remove any columns that are not listed there. If you are creating new objects, also leave out id, since that field is used to update existing records rather than create new ones.

If this is a full version upgrade rather than a one-off data import, please use the upgrade guide instead of trying to move the data via CSV export/import.
