how to filter out "unnamed device" ?

When looking at our devices, we'd like to create a saved filter that filters out any 'unnamed device', so the only things that are displayed are devices that actually have a name.

How would I filter out unnamed device? I don't see anything in the filters tab that would let me filter based on the name (or lack thereof) of a device.

Hi,

You can filter this using the __empty lookup on the name field:

/dcim/devices/?name__empty=False

That will return only devices where the name is not empty, so unnamed devices are excluded. You can also save that URL as a saved filter.

how do I save the url as a saved filter? there is no 'name' field in any of the filter options in the GUI to create the search so I can save it.
