Pandoc is an important tool for static site generators, and is the default markdown converter in all static sites from our organization. The Pandoc version that comes with Ubuntu 14.04 (1.12.2) and is currently used in
build-imageis too old to be really usable. This pull request installs the most recent version (2.2.1) via the.debprovided by the Pandoc maintainer instead, which is the easiest way to install a current Pandoc version in an Ubuntu environment.
