Thanks so much for all the work you’ve put into this project. It’s been incredibly useful, and I honestly don’t know what we’d do without it. Really appreciate you maintaining it and continuing to improve it — looking forward to v4! |

Thank you very much for your efforts and support provided through github issues. One thing I recommend is setting up a discord - that way those of us using the project a lot can also discuss it and share our tips and tricks, and the community can get more involved in supporting one another as well. I think a new release is a good opportunity to announce something like that as well - and let me know if you need any help :) |

Hi everybody,
I want to give you a heads-up before the release, because some of you are planning work for the end of this year and I'd rather you plan it knowing this.
Neuron v4 will be published at the end of September. I'm not going to list what's in it here. The release letter will do that, with the reasoning behind every change, as it has for every major version. What I want to share now is what this version means for the road we're on.
Eighteen months ago the question was whether PHP could host agentic systems at all. V2 answered it with working code. V3 was a bet on the Workflow architecture, and what you built on it has settled that bet better than any argument I could have made. Developers shipped products, companies moved agents into production, and the gap with other ecosystems stopped being the first thing people asked me about.
V4 is the version where we stop proving and start building on solid ground. It is the step from "PHP can do this" to "this is how you build agentic-native applications where the agent is THE architecture." Everything in it comes from what you told us when V3 met real users, real infrastructure, and real deadlines.
I'm excited to publish it, and I'm even more curious about what you'll do with it in the months after.
See you at the end of the month.
Valerio
