Currently we say:

• Today
• Yesterday
• October 7, 2017
• October 6, 2017

Since the year is not really relevant for things which happened very recently, and the day of the week is much more important, we should do it like this:

• Today
• Yesterday
• Saturday, October 7
• Friday, October 6

What do you think @nickvergessen? We could also include the year as soon as the event history goes to last year.

well yes we could, but that would not be localizable anymore:

So it would be the same for all languages, instead of Month-Day in US and Day-Month in Germany, etc.

If we are fine with that, we can change it, yes.
