AIO 15.0.1 Beta – Nextcloud container still fails to start

Hi @szaimen,

I'm following up on my original report in [AIO 15.0.0 Beta (#8895)](#8895).

Unfortunately, after updating to AIO 15.0.1 Beta, the issue remains unchanged. The nextcloud-aio-nextcloud container is still stuck in a restart loop, while all other AIO containers are running normally.

I would like to clarify one important point regarding the conclusion that this is a Polls-related issue.

I had already tried disabling and completely uninstalling the Polls app. Neither approach resolved the problem. Polls is no longer installed, yet the issue persists with AIO 15.0.1 Beta.

Therefore, attributing the failure exclusively to Polls does not seem consistent with what I'm experiencing.

As another user mentioned in the original discussion, similar failures have also been observed with other applications, such as recognize, suggesting that the underlying cause may not be specific to Polls.

The latest container logs still show the same update.failed message, with successful connections to PostgreSQL and Redis. However, these logs do not establish whether the original upgrade failure is still blocking startup or whether a new failure occurred.

I'm attaching the latest container logs from AIO 15.0.1 Beta for reference.

Hi @vawaver, thanks for being so persistent with your report. It looks like we found some bug in the server code: nextcloud/server#66167

I created a workaround in #8957. This is now released with v15.0.2 Beta. Testing and feedback is welcome! See https://github.com/nextcloud/all-in-one#how-to-switch-the-channel. To fix this, you need to restore a backup that was working and restart the container multiple times so that it runs the update automatically.
