⚠️ Before posting ⚠️

  • This is a bug, not a question or an enhancement.
  • I've searched for similar issues and didn't find a duplicate.
  • I've written a clear and descriptive title for this issue, not just "Bug" or "Crash".
  • I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.

Steps to reproduce

I'm using a Quest 3 and sideloaded the NextCloud app. Previously, it worked without a hitch, but the new version won't connect to my server. Unfortunately I'm not sure which app version I was using before, but I'm going to try going back through the app versions- This problem could've also been caused by a Quest update rather than a NextCloud update, but either way it's very strange.

The weird thing is this doesn't happen with my Galaxy phone, so clearly this is only an issue on certain devices, but I don't know how to further investigate the issue.

Expected behaviour

Logging in, of course.

Actual behaviour

Here's what happens:

  1. I open the app, type in the server URL
  2. It opens the Quest browser and shows a login page
  3. I enter my username and password, then get directed to a "Grant Access" screen
  4. After clicking the button, I am directed to a "Login successful. You may now close this window" screen
  5. When returning to the app, it is simply stuck in an infinite loading loop as below
  6. Closing and reopening the app simply returns to step 1
