Media is reuploaded when handset is switched

Steps to reproduce

1. Use nc app on mobile1. Do the settings so that if the file is on server, dont /skip upload
2. After many years change the mobile to mobile2. Take all the data and apps etc from mob1 to mob2.
3. Use nc app on mobile2. Do the settings so that if the file is on server, dont /skip upload

Expected behaviour

It should not upload all the older photos and whats app images etc

It uploads all the older photos and whats app images etc

How did you transfer over the apps? And more specifically are you certain you did not have to re-setup Nextcloud on the new device?

Last I checked, the standard transfer mechanism was disabled for the client (due to other negative side effects).

There's a samsung switch app. I used that to transfer everything from old to new phone.

Why should I resetup nextcloud? I launch NC app on new handset, entered my domain infos and then Do the settings so that if the file is on server, dont upload /skip upload.

Thus it should not reupload the data.
